Sharing your revision with a teacher
Join a teacher's class with their code so they can see your revision for one subject — and how to stop.
Your account is yours. A teacher only sees your revision when you join their class with a code, and only for the subject you pick. You can leave at any time, and sharing ends on 31 December regardless.
Joining a class
- Get the 6-character class code from your teacher.
- Open Account → Share with a teacher → Join a class, and enter the code. The class and teacher name appear so you can check it's the right one.
- Choose the subject you want to share.
- Read the two lists — what your teacher will see, and what they never will — tick the box, and press Join class.
- The subject page now shows a “Shared with …” chip. Nothing else about your revision changes.
What a teacher sees
Your marks per syllabus point (past-exam and practice questions, including whether you worked open-book, closed-book or timed, the error reason you tagged, and the answer you typed on practice items), your timed sittings, the school tasks you added for that subject, your flashcard progress per point, and the days you completed a session. They see the same Not assessed → Secure status per point that your Topics tab shows you.
What a teacher never sees
Tutor chats, your notes and brain dumps, your wrong-answer notebook, confidence taps and pack reads on your device, any other subject, or anything about billing, your device or your wellbeing.
Good to know
- If you're under 15, a parent or guardian must have confirmed consent on your account before you can share.
- Leaving a class stops the sharing straight away; you can rejoin later with the code.
- If a teacher removes you from their class, that code won't readmit you — ask them.
- Sharing ends on 31 December each year. Join again in the new year if you want to keep sharing.
